Between recrutiting tutors, running workshops, and giving out drinks, it’s been a busy couple of weeks for S’Cool LAB. Here’s the latest news:
On Wednesday 04/02/15 30 high school students from Norway (Elvebakken VGS) visited CERN and had the chance to be S'Cool LAB guinea pigs. They performed experiments with X-Rays, Electron tubes and Cloud Chambers and learned about particle acceleration and detection.
Many thanks to the fantastic tutors Ivan, Paul and Roberto!
"What better way to learn than to try yourself? That’s the idea of S'Cool LAB, a new teaching laboratory: it offers school-children visiting CERN the chance to take part in a half-day practical workshop in a purpose-equipped lab."
